About

Angel (ahng-hehl) is a Mexican American who grew up in both the warm and sunny days of Ensenada Bay in Baja and America’s finest city, San Diego, California. Playing with friends and cholos from around the block is where Angel developed his physical and mental skills, and probably his competitiveness. His active lifestyle was inherited from his parents, and being naturally gifted, his talent led him to represent his schools, cities, and state teams. He traveled around the country, playing in many state and national tournaments, eventually landing a full-ride scholarship at one of the top schools.

He graduated as an engineer, followed by a master’s degree, where his expertise in machine design and process improvement gave him the opportunity to move to Nike Town and relocate to the Pacific Northwest. In this wonderland, he engineers, enjoys life, and pursues his interests such as personal growth, physical health, and happiness. You’ll find him listening to music, being active/exercising, tinkering with gadgets, riding motorcycles, traveling, getting tattooed, and tasting food.

Angel maintains an active lifestyle routine that includes going to the gym, hiking, and cycling, especially mountain biking. He’s always on the hunt for the best gear to improve his lifestyle, where practicality rules. Well-thought-out EDC (Everyday Carry) gear is essential for motorcycle riding and traveling. The right gear can be a lifesaver, protect your tattoos, or enable you to enjoy life better. His latest hobby is embedded in all the others: photography and videography, where he attempts to capture life on a digital frame as best as possible.

I’m in constant improvement, but as of today, my achievements and failures have forged a person with character, someone with limits, boundaries, and the discipline to keep moving forward in God’s path, striving to be better than yesterday.
