This is going to be illuminating. Imagine you’re stumbling through the dark, and suddenly, BAM! You remember you’ve got a flashlight. Instant hero status. Carrying a flashlight isn’t just for those dark alleys, it’s your trusty companion, your beacon of light in a world full of shadows. First off, it’s practical. Need to find something you dropped? Need to check under the hood? Need to ward off a critter? Flashlight in hand, you’re sorted. It’s like having your own personal lighthouse that fits in your pocket. Second, let’s talk about power outages. The lights go out, and everyone’s fumbling around like headless chickens. Not you. You whip out your flashlight and suddenly, you’re the beacon of civilization in a post-apocalyptic nightmare. And then there’s safety. Walking at night, you need to see and be seen. A flashlight says, “I’m here, and I mean business.” It’s your portable spotlight, turning you into the main character in the epic saga of your life. Lastly, the sheer convenience. Small, compact, easy to carry. Slip it into your pocket, and you won’t even notice it’s there until you need it. And trust me, you will need it. So, carrying a flashlight every day? It’s not just smart, it’s essential. It’s the little tool with a big impact, ready to shine a light on whatever darkness comes your way.
O-Light iT3 EOS (Gen1)
My current EDC flashlight is the carbon fiber version of O-Light’s iT3 EOS, the first generation. I like it so much that I have two of them. The flashlight has two modes, low and high, where the low provides a more focus and softer light ideal for close-up tasks or when you need just a bit of illumination. The high mode gives you 180 lumens, with a beam distance of ~200ft, which is impressive for its size, making it perfect for illuminating dark areas or outdoor activities. More…
