Wallets as we know them today were introduced back in the 17th century, leather wallets with compartments for bills and coins. However the concept of a wallet dated back to the early 3,300 BC with Otzi the Iceman (Europe’s Oldest Mummy) showing the earliest examples of wallets; pouch-like wallets carrying coins, small objects that were worn on belts or around the neck. By the 19th century wallets have become an essential accessory for men evolving to accommodate bills, credit cards and ID cards. It’s fascinating how wallets have evolved throughout the years, coming in different styles and materials reflecting the changing needs of men’s lifestyles.
Despite technology and the fact that physical money’s use is decreasing, I personally believe that wallets will stick with us for a while. One, governments, insurances and whatnot still require physical IDs and two, not all people are tech savvy to carry digital documents. To be honest I don’t know if I want to have all of my data up in the cloud, plus there is something classy when you pull out a good looking wallet.

Its thickness, view/access window and pull tab excel the use of this wallet. Getting in and out of my front pocket it’s practical, fast and easy. It’s versatile enough to carry the essentials for your day, so no space for receipts or coins, is definitely an ice breaker in public and it’s tough that you can open a beer with it. The materials and care that Trayvax puts into their products is excellent. I’ve been using this wallet for about a year now and it has aged quite beautifully, the leather looks better with time. You can dress it up for a sophisticated look or pair it with a flannel for a rustic or casual look, this wallet can definitely match your wardrobe.
